
UNCLE BROADUS'S DANCE BAND received a
Merit Ribbon at the 2008 Atlanta Artist Center National Exhibition.
The Atlanta Artist Center 2008 National
Juried Exhibition has selected Uncle Broadus's Dance Band(1920's)
to be on display. Juror Ms. Paula Katz, Director and Curator, Herron School
of Art and Design, Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis, IN,
selected 76 pieces from 70 artists, out of 652 pieces submitted by 238
artists from 35 states.The exhibition will hang from August 26 -Sept 30,2008
at the Atlanta Artists Center, 2979 Grandview Ave. Atlanta, GA.

Musical paintings Jazz & Blues, After
Rehearsal and Trombone Section will be on exhibit at the Mable House
Amphitheatre for the concert season beginning March 27,2008- November
6, 2008.. The paintings will be located inside the main entrance hall of the
amphitheatre.

ART OF THE GOLDEN GENERATION, a juried art
exhibition sponsored by the CAREing Center Kennesaw University and
Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art has accepted Woman From Old Town,
Sweeping Palace Square, Seville's Flamenco into the
2007 exhibit. Seventy seven artists submitted 223 pieces of art of which 83
pieces were selected. The exhibit will take place at the Marietta/Cobb
Museum, 30 Atlanta Street, Marietta, GA from Oct 6-December 8 ,2007.
